1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MilkPrint ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and MilkPrint ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

MilkPrint is a baby tracking application that allows parents and caregivers to log feeding, sleep, diaper changes, and growth data. The App may include free and paid features, AI-powered insights, caregiver sharing, and data export capabilities.

3. Not Medical Advice

MilkPrint is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is designed for informational and tracking purposes only. Content provided by the App, including AI-generated insights, should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician or qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your child's health.

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use MilkPrint. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

5. Accounts

You may use basic features without an account. Certain features (AI chat, caregiver sharing, cloud sync) require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Free tier: Core tracking features are free with no time limit.

Premium and Family tiers: Available as auto-renewing subscriptions via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your App Store or Play Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the App Store or Play Store

One-time purchases: Certain features (such as Baby Book) may be available as one-time in-app purchases. These are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Use the App to collect data about other people without their consent
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Abuse the AI chat feature by submitting content unrelated to baby care
• Interfere with the App's infrastructure or security

8. Caregiver Sharing

The Family plan allows you to invite caregivers to share baby data. By inviting a caregiver, you consent to sharing your baby's tracking data with that person. You are responsible for managing caregiver access and can revoke invitations at any time within the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by MilkPrint and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your data is yours. You retain full ownership of all baby data and content you enter into the App. We claim no ownership rights over your data.

10. AI-Generated Content

MilkPrint's AI features use artificial intelligence to generate responses and insights. AI-generated content is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. See Section 3 regarding medical advice.

11. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep MilkPrint available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For paid features, we will provide reasonable notice before removing functionality you have paid for.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MilkPrint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Termination

You may stop using MilkPrint at any time by deleting the App and, if applicable, canceling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your local data remains on your device; cloud data will be deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
